Antique cut steel brooch with lovely faceted polished steel stones - a very old piece (probably early 1800s Georgian to early Victorian) still in very good vintage condition.

This a large, striking pin with a length of 2 inches and a width of just over 1.5 inches. The brooch fastens with a secure pin and old C hook clasp. The reverse of the brooch shows marks suggesting that it was once a buckle (as they all were in those times) but has since been professionally converted into a brooch. It is in very good antique condition.
