This stylized butterfly is a charming Navajo brooch in turquoise and coin silver. The coin silver wings are given dimension using a repoussé metalworking technique. Rocker stamps and engraving embellish the silver. A gorgeous green turquoise is set in the sweet butterfly's belly. The lightweight brooch fastens with a rollover pin clasp. This piece has the unique charm of a handmade jewel. Circa 1960.

Details.....The brooch measures 1.7" by 1.1". In Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all vintage jewelry, wear should be expected in keeping with their age. We consider it to be part of their charm.
