This is a gorgeous rhinestone brooch made in Austria, most likely during the 1950s.  It features prong set navette shaped stones, most in pink, but a few in purple.  In addition, there are aurora mirrored pink rhinestones - all stones are set in a very good quality metal setting.  The pin has a safety catch and the setting is stamped “Austria” in a rectangle.  The brooch measures 2” by 1 3/4” and has a depth of about 7/8”, exclusive of the pin.  It is in very good condition with no missing or replaced stones or repairs.  Austrian quality is known as being the best as far as rhinestones are concerned - this is a very attractive brooch!
